To provide semi-independent accommodation and support asylum-seeking children and young people to help navigate their way through the big transitions in their life as they try to settle in the UK and move into adulthood.

Our Approach

We work closely with the local authority to ensure the relevant assessments are carried out in a timely manner and the young person’s needs are fully assessed and can be responded to. We ensure young people have their voice heard through these processes and are fully informed and involved.
We aim to assist young people to make positive choices about their lives; in particular: independent living skills, education, training and work opportunities. We will offer information, advice, advocacy, training and support, and broker access to services that they may need, including good quality legal advice.

Team
Positive Attitude
All employees have undergone training to meet the diverse demands of our service users. They have been trained to deal with challenging behaviours and complex needs. Some of the areas of training include alcohol abuse & counselling training. Throughout the year, employees attend a wide range of training and personal development courses to equip them to work effectively and professionally with our service users. This also ensures that we reinforce our good practices and are also up to date with policies and methods of working with the vulnerable. Safeguarding both our staff and service users hold strong value and high importance to the way we work.
