BravoLife Living

 Semi-Independent Living service provides a high standard of accommodation and supportive environment for aged 16 to 25 years. We aim to ensure young people are able to develop and maintain respect, self-reliance and self-care skills and enable them to make informed, age-appropriate decisions, concerning their present and future so they can achieve a successful transition into independence and adulthood.

Each member of our support staff

  • Undergoes enhanced background checks via DBS (Disclosure and Barring Check Service) check.
  • Undergoes specific awareness training in cultural awareness, differing religious needs and legal support required when working with unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and young people.
  • Participates in an induction programme which includes awareness raising about all aspects of the service provision and training on safeguarding.
  • Gets ongoing training provided, to enhance staff knowledge and skills based on an analysis of individual learning and development needs. 
  • Has clear processes for receiving new arrivals to ensure all immediate medical, physical, legal and safety needs are met.
  • Supports the young people whenever they need it.
  • Has a written protocol to be followed in the event of an allegation being made about a support worker. The young person and support worker will know how they will be supported in the event of an allegation being made.
  • Has clear processes to ensure the property is safe and secure for the children and young people.

Modern Semi Living

BravoLife Living endeavors to help asylum-seeking children and young people, age 16 to 25 years old. We provide semi-independent accommodations within a shared house in Chessington Surrey & Greater  London. Our staff are well experienced & has the cultural capital to support asylum-seeking children & young people to establish positive and effective working relationships with young people. Our staff work in partnership with local authorities, referring agencies and wider multi-disciplinary networks through forming professional & productive working relationships, also speaks fluently in English, German,  Amharic & Tigrinya.

Happy Living

We provide semi-independent living services for asylum-seeking children & young people aged 16-25 years old. In addition, we prepare children and young people with the emotional stability needed to develop positive attitude and engage with their wider community. We provide support to children & young people to ensure that they are not victims of modern slavery. Our staff will take practical steps to motivate , encourage and give positive guidance.

Bright Future

We support children and young people with: Everyday budgeting shopping. Cooking and nutrition. Cleaning and maintaining a home & Paying bills. Staying safe at home Managing behaviour and being part of a community. Positive healthy life styles. Accessing services they might need e.g. medical (registering with GP & Dentist) Education School & Collage. Applying for National Insurance number. Travel Documents & Passports for those who qualify.

Our staff

Work with personal advisors & social workers from the local authority. Develop an individual pathway plan. Offer financial advice. Provides support with education, training and seek employment (for with rights to work). Assists with activities to stay fit and healthy. Provides guidance and counselling when stressful situations occur. Work with personal advisors and social workers to offer help in connecting family members

Our Impact

The young refugees and asylum seekers we support face many challenges including language barriers, lack of education, social isolation, economic hardship and navigating complex legal and care systems.
